The Love Parade is Back - July 15, 2006 |

Mixworks comes to the Love Parade representing Detroit, a city not unlike Berlin. The synergy between the two cities goes back to the industrial revolution, and continues today through electronic music, its fans and the artists that travel the globe sharing their influences and inspiration. Love Parade has always represented the international electronic music culture, with Detroit artists participating and American music fans traveling to Berlin to participate in this amazing event. This year, DJ Buzz Goree has brought the Detroit underground experience to the Love Parade through his float, marking the first time Detroit has had a float in the parade. After over a decade of collaborate efforts between the two cities in the techno world, it is surprising there has not been a Detroit float participating in this million-person event before. Detroit continues to support the efforts of other underground scenes, especially Berlin, and wishes many more Love Parade events to come!
